I've had a lot of people ask me what to do for relief from eczema. This artical is dedicated to you whether you have a light case or severe, if you apply these practices and try these remedies you should find some relief.
I know you've probably already heard not to bathe or shower with water that is too hot because this will only dry out the skin more and aggravate the condition. Also you should be careful what kinds of fabrics you wear and what
you clean your clothes with. Try using an unscented and dye free detergent if possible. Keep a food diary and notice when your eczema becomes inflamed and what you ate at the time. This will help you find any trigger foods you may
eat and help you avoid them in the future.
Now on to immediate relief..... ahhh! Try soaking in a lukewarm bath with a couple of handuls of old fashioned rolled oats (not instant or 1 minute) for about 20 minutes or so. Also moisturizing with coconut oil has been known to
help relieve itching and dryness. You can also try soaking in a milk bath for 20 minutes or so. Get whole instant dry milk from the baking isle at your grocery store and pour a cup under your running tap water.
I hope some or all of these tips give you some much needed relief! Check back as I will be doing more research and post more tips along and along!
